Stealth motorboats trialled
Trials are being carried out of new high-speed stealth motorboats for Britain's Special Forces. They are reported to be capable of operating at speeds of up to 70 knots while producing very little wake to reduce the chances of detection.

Their stealth characteristics are enhanced by special radar absorbing hulls. Two of the boats, which were designed and built by VT Halmatic, were sighted undergoing trials off the north east coast while the eyes of most of the boating world were fixed firmly on the Southampton Boat Show.
