Gibraltar will host its inaugural international boat show next year from April 9-12 at the Ocean Village marina.
The show is set to become a regular event in the Mediterranean. The first show will allow free access to exhibitors and visitors, with the costs being met by the organisers, sponsors and the venue.
The timing of the Gibraltar show is designed to suit the needs of boatbuilders and dealers in advance of the new season in the Mediterranean.
Brian Stevendale of show venue Ocean Village said: "Gibraltar has always been a strategic location in marine history, and it is fitting that it should now host its own boat show for the international community. With our new Ocean Village marina now open, and an increasing number of superyachts visiting daily, the venue could not be better suited."
