Italy's Grimaldi Group has taken delivery of the 47,120gt multipurpose ro-ro vessel Grande Senegal from Croatia's Uljanik shipyard as the forth in a series of seven sisterships being built for the firm by Uljanik.

The 210.9m by 32.3m newbuilding is powered by a MAN B&W 8S60MC-C diesel engine rated at 24,582 bhp and giving a service speed of 21 knots.

Grande Senegal will join the earlier delivered ro-ros Grande Angola, Grande Ghana and Grande Benin on company's the run between Europe and West Africa.
